Jason Lee is an experienced software engineering leader with over 18 years experience across government, telecommunication, audio/video, web and gaming domains. He has helped organisations in scaling and uplifting engineering best practices, to achieve quality focused software products. He has also transformed software engineering best practices through software engineering quality strategies, development processes & workflows, testing & DevSecOps processes, infrastructure and tooling. In his most recent role, he was the Director of Software Engineering with Aristocrat driving software engineering transformation through engineering roadmaps, strategies, quality-first culture and best practices of software development life cycle within Technology Team. Outside his work time, he has been actively involved as adjunct lecturer with Macquarie University and University of Western Sydney. He recently co-authored a book chapter “Handbook of Software Fault Localization: Foundations and Advances” published by Wiley. He also has recently led and developed the Software, Quality Assurance and Testing micro credential with the Institute of Applied Technology (IATD) and partnering with Microsoft, NSW Government, TAFE NSW, UTS and UWS, to upskill industry professionals.
