A Hands-On, No-Nonsense Approach to Test Design

We operate in a world obsessed with automation frameworks, AI buzzwords, and shiny tools. No surprise that we forget the fundamentals.

This tutorial is a full-day, hands-on deep dive into the art and craft of test design—the kind that doesn’t need an LLM, a CI pipeline, or a Chrome driver to make sense.

We’ll strip away the jargon, slow things down, and revisit the core thinking behind great testing:
What do we test? How do we test it? And why?

This is a back-to-basics session—but not in a “read the glossary” kind of way. We’ll challenge assumptions, sharpen test ideas, and flex those underused muscles that no tool can automate: clarity, curiosity, and critical thinking.
