Key-Learnings

  • Automatic accessibility testing can and should be done
  • The best choice of technology depends on the technology you use today
  • This is how you can set up and write automatic accessibility tests

In this workshop you'll learn how to set up and write your own automatic accessibility tests using Axe and Playwright. We'll cover how to write both unit tests and integration tests and will look at what to test at each level. While doing this we'll also cover some of the most common accessibility errors that can be discovered automatically and learn how to fix them.

We will do this workshop ensemble style - testing with small groups where the whole group works on the same thing, at the same time, in the same space, and at the same computer.
